  • It’s time once again to talk, even if I consider myself a man of action. In this dev diary we’ll go over these new Thunder at Our Gates Features: Ship Captains, and our Division Designer rework, which includes Regimental Support Companies.

  • /p][p][u][b]NAVAL AI[/b][/u][/p][p]We’ve been looking at some of the key pain points behind the naval AI’s underperformance. One of the reasons was the way that the AI decided to use its strikeforces, and another was how it decided where to prioritize its navy.
  • /p][p]Previous patches significantly improved naval AI compared to the NCNS launch version, but it still struggled to react quickly to changing situations. Here are some of the problems we’ve seen and how they have been addressed.[/p][p][/p][p][b]AI wasn’t making good use of new naval technology[/b]
  • /p][p]That said, we’ve had a look at some of the problem areas and improved them. This is an area where we will continue to improve things in further updates to the game.
